Hello everyone,
just a quick heads up before the forums explode with rage over “unexpected nerfs”:
Detailed Russian patchnotes are out. Amongst other things, they contain the following:
M4A3E8 Sherman:
Время прицеливания орудия 76 mm Gun M1A2 изменено с 2,3 сек. до 3,5 сек.
Разброс орудия 76 mm Gun M1A2 после выстрела увеличен на 50%.
(aim time increased from 2,3s to 3,5s, aim spread after shooting increased by 50 percent)
Don’t panic!
This does NOT concern the ingame M4A3E8, it concerns the vehicle that is used in the (American) tutorial, which is designated as “M4A3E8″ too, but it is a separate vehicle. So don’t worry, no Sherman nerfs are coming. At least not for now :P
This has been confirmed by both The_Chieftain and Storm.

- SerB thinks not everyone (by far) will sell the Superpershing in 8.8
- according to SerB, there is no guarantee that Superpershing’s gold price won’t be increased (SS: after the tank stops being sellable for gold)
- +/-1 MM spread won’t be added
- official rating will not be displayed around player’s nick in battle
- exact XP gain formula won’t be disclosed
- there might be another Soviet TD branch implemented in the future
- T-44-122 will be a reward tank for supertesters only (SS: probably to reward the leaks lately)

today, we are going to look at one pretty interesting story, that has possibly set one of the world records. And the hero of the story? ČKD AH-IV tankette.
The background of the AH-IV is relatively well known. It was born in mid 30′s and it was the pinnacle of Czech tankette evolution. After the disastrous experience with the infamous Tančík Vz.33 (P-I), that was almost universally hated, ČKD decided it was time for some improvements and designed something on the border between a tankette and a light tank.

Q: Is there anything in Soviet archived indicating what the Soviet troops though of German tanks as far as comfort was concerned?
A: The PzIII is indicated several times as being fairly luxurious (as far as tanks go), and well liked by commanders that used them as command vehicles (once the radios have been replaced, of course).
